Terms of Use

1. The Service

Easy Note records audio you choose to capture, or meetings you choose to send a notetaker to, and uses AI to produce transcripts, summaries and answers to your questions about your notes. We may add, change or remove features over time.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use the Service.

2. Your account

When you first open the app we create a private guest account for you. Notes made as a guest are tied to that device until you create an account with email or Google, which keeps them and lets you use them on other devices. If you sign out of a guest account or delete the app before creating an account, guest notes may be lost.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at fakher.hakim@bridge-softwares.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Recording other people

Before you record a conversation or send the notetaker to a meeting, you agree to inform the other participants and to obtain any consent required by the laws that apply to you and to them. You must not use the Service to record people secretly or unlawfully. The notetaker appears in the meeting as "Easy-Notes Bot" and may be removed by the meeting host.

4. Your content

You own your recordings, transcripts, summaries and questions ("Your Content"). You give us a limited licence to store, process and transmit Your Content only as needed to provide the Service to you, including sending it to our AI and infrastructure providers as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use Your Content to train AI models.

You are responsible for Your Content and confirm that you have the rights needed to record and process it.

5. AI-generated output

Transcripts, speaker labels, summaries, action items and answers are produced automatically and can be incomplete or wrong, for example when audio is unclear or several people speak at once. Output is provided for your convenience and is not professional, legal, medical or financial advice. Check anything important against the recording before relying on it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break any law, or infringe anyone's privacy, intellectual property or other rights.
• Record or upload content you do not have the right to record or share.
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, defame or harm others.
• Attempt to get around plan limits, for example by creating multiple accounts.
• Access the Service other than through our official apps and website, including with bots, scrapers or modified clients.
• Reverse engineer, interfere with or disrupt the Service or the systems it runs on.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

7. Free plan and Pro

Free plan

The free plan includes a set number of notes each calendar month and a starter allowance of AI processing for transcription and Ask. Current limits are shown in the app and on our website. When a limit is reached, your existing notes remain available; new notes wait until the limit resets or you upgrade.

Pro subscription

Pro removes the monthly note limit and adds features such as the meeting notetaker. Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The price, billing period and any free trial are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.

• Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase, or at the end of a free trial.
• The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel the subscription in your account settings: on iOS in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions; on Android in the Google Play Store, then Payments & subscriptions.
• When you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and refund requests are handled by them under their own refund policies. This does not affect any rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Fair use applies to all plans: we may limit use that is abusive or far beyond normal personal use.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Google Firebase, OpenAI, Recall.ai and RevenueCat, and on Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom when you use the notetaker. Your use of those platforms is also subject to their own terms.

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide support for it.

9. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and the Easy Note name and logo, belongs to Bridge Softwares and its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the apps on devices you own or control, in line with these Terms.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing fakher.hakim@bridge-softwares.com. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in your store account. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or if we must for legal reasons. If we discontinue the Service, we will give reasonable notice where we can so you can export or copy your notes.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that output will be accurate, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or business.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page, update the date at the top and tell you in the app about any material change before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Estonia, unless the consumer law of the country where you live gives you the right to bring proceedings there.
